Disadvantages of recycled foam

× Initial comfort: Firmer, with a “sitting on a block” feel.
× Durability/lifespan: Flattens quickly (–30–50% volume in 6–12 months).
× Noise: Quiet at first, but squeaks as it becomes compacted.
× Safety: Often lacks clear certification, with potentially toxic fumes in the event of a fire.
× Hygiene & risks: Risk of bedbugs/bacteria + high concentration of dust mites.
× Care/refilling: Cannot be refilled (must be thrown away once compacted).
× Eco-friendliness: “Recycled” is a marketing claim: often low-grade and ultimately ends up in landfill.
× Weight/transport: Heavier, making it more difficult to move from one room to another.
× Perceived quality: A low-cost feel that quickly leads to disappointment.

Conclusion: LiveDeco M1 beads come out on top in every respect for a premium, comfortable and durable giant bean bag. We choose high-quality new, locally sourced materials for your peace of mind and well-being.
